Mickey Mouse Club House

A wave of cheer spread among the cute and tiny tots of Little One, The Jaipuria Preschool in Ghaziabad, as they participated in the fun event called Mickey Mouse Club House.

The role-play event required children to dress up as their favorite cartoon characters, use props, speak a few lines relevant to the character, and even do mimicry. Some of the children performed exceptionally well in this role-playing.

But that was not it.

Our little ones also watched a movie on cartoons. During the screening, they were shown clips of cartoon characters or their voice samples, and they were asked to guess the character’s name or the cartoon’s title. It was all part of the ‘Guess Who I Am’ game.

Learning through cartoons has many benefits for young children. First and foremost, they enjoy watching cartoons. The stories and actions of cartoon characters instill the formative sense of morality, kindness, goodness, and resilience in kids. Children often learn by imitating, and watching exemplary characters makes them want to replicate their goodness.

On top of it, the role-playing activity enhances their spoken skills and verbal expression. The ‘Guess Who I Am’ game helped them learn to compare, recognize and identify.

All in all, Mickey Mouse Club House was a rollicking event.
